Year of New Beer: KO Blond Ale, De Proefbrouwerij (Belgium)

Honey, caramel, apple skins, and light floral tones on the nose. On the tongue is a pronounced fruit sweetness--candied pineapple and apricots, followed by a pretty decent caramel malt mid-palate. As the sweetness fades, a green hop bitterness builds, finishing moderately dry and sticky with a growing alcohol warmth. Good, not great.
