Year of New Beer: Kind Ryed, Otter Creek Brewing (VT)

Drinking from the bottle, so a little to be desired on the nose. Even so, there is a definite grapefruit rind and pine resin that I'm sure would be magnified in a glass. On the tongue, the citrus starts out pretty juicy before an evergreen hop note kicks in mid-palate, joined by an increasingly spicy rye bite. Clean and slightly grassy on the finish with some residual sweetness. Very nicely balanced. Wishing I had gotten a six pack of this one.
