Year of New Beer: Pineapple Sculpin, Ballast Point Brewing (CA)

So, fairly often I will describe an IPA as having pineapple in the aroma. This is different--it's like the juice. Sticky and sweet, it transitions nicely to the tongue, maintaining a sugary element, but still allowing just enough of the hop bitterness to shine through. I liked this much more than I though I would. This could be crushable at the pool this summer.
