Year of New Beer: House, Central State Brewing (IN)

Grainy, almost lager-like notes make up the majority of the overall subdued nose. On the tongue, however, a more complex profile emerges as Brett and rye produce a slightly spicy bite, giving a funky edge to an otherwise nondescript ale. Not a bad beer for warmer weather, and certainly a nice companion to some grilled chicken and rice.
