Year of New Beer: Tangerine of My Rye, Odd Side Ales (MI)

Juicy citrus on the nose, obviously tangerine, but also some pineapple and apricot against a backdrop of bread crust and hints of grass. A little more developed on the tongue as the fruits provide an initial sweetness before the rye spice steps up, noticeable for sure, but not overpowering. Peach and mango join the tangerine, all providing a pithy bitterness that meshes well with the rye bite and toasted bread. Way too easy drinking for 7%, as it comes off very light and refreshing. Nice beer.
