Year of New Beer: Peach Jungle Boogie, Marz Community Brewing (Chicago)

I don't usually go back-to-back with the same brewery, but these variants on the Jungle Boogie are just too tempting. This one delivers the promised peach on the nose, slightly tart atop a damp wheat. Hints of grapefruit and light tea leaves as well. Transitions beautifully to the tongue as an unripened peach greets the taste buds with a slightly acidic bite. A touch of grassy bitterness arrives through the mid-palate before the peach seems to return, a bit sweeter toward the finish. An earthy tea develops with warmth. This is stellar, and probably my favorite version so far.
