Year of New Beer: Saison au Miel, Left Hand Brewing (CO)

Belgian yeast, coriander, pepper, and hints of ginger up front. Warmth brings a bit of honeysuckle. On the tongue is a baked bread and slightly floral hop bite, with a sweet grain note arriving mid-palate. The honey aspect overpowers the traditional saison spiciness, possibly leading some to find this a touch too sweet. I found it to be tasty and pretty easy drinking on a hot spring day.
