Year of New Beer: Phrenology (Batch #5), Urban Artifact (Cincinnati)

Funky on the nose with dried hay and flowers doing most of the work, but enough of a citrus presence to give it a twist. On the tongue, the citrusy hop bite blends nicely with the dusty Brett funk, giving this a tangy, Sweetart sort of feel. Sour apricot and herbal grasses add layers to the flavor. If you don't like Brett beers, stay away. Otherwise, I'd say this one is worth a shot if you see it.
