Year of New Beer: Tripel Threat, Rock House Brewing (Lexington)

Soft fruit aromas of pear, sweet white grapes, and hints of banana join a light spice on the nose. On the tongue, a light caramel sweetness works with a cooked apple and clove note as a warming alcohol comes in on the finish. A little sweet initially, but a bit of patience is rewarded as this opens up and balances out nicely with warmth. A great choice for a rainy Sunday afternoon. The beers at Rock House just keep getting better. Good work, guys!
