Year of New Beer: Mo Beam, West 6th Brewing (Lexington)

Take an already awesome, hazy, New England style IPA and kick it up a few decibels? You have my attention. Grapefruit practically leaps from the glass, with undercurrents of dank, herbal grasses. On the tongue, the hops are on full display, presenting soft and juicy, with a fleeting sweetness along the middle. Manages to maintain a pithy, juicy bite with very little bitterness. And I'm not sure where they hid the 8%, because this is ridiculously smooth. Well done, gentlemen.
