Sweet pineapple juice hits the nose first, backed up with grapefruit and hints of chive. A little warmth allows a cake-like malt sweetness to step up as well. The tongue experiences the same variety of flavors. Extremely juicy and soft, with only the faintest citrus pith in the early going. Tropical notes of mango and pineapple rest easily on a malt base that's reminiscent of angel food cake. The herbal component of the hop bill provides light chive and weed, but it still takes a back seat to the juice. This is absolutely outstanding.
