Year of New Beer: Milo's IPA, St. Pete Brewing (FL)

Tangerine and brown sugar seem to lead the way early, with elements of pine coming on with warmth. On the tongue is a citrus zest that is held in check by a toasted bread crust. Moderate bitterness never manages to get completely clear of the sweet malt backbone. This is, in my opinion, better than I was led to believe, but still a little ho-hum in the crowded IPA field.
