Year of New Beer: Foray IPA, Deschutes Brewery (OR)

Bright citrus on the nose, with lemon leading the way, backed by a pretty solid grapefruit and floral hop tone. Belgian yeast in abundance as well. On the tongue, the hops have a crisp grassiness, with a light, cracker-like malt providing some body. Apple skin and a bit of citrus pith arrive mid-palate before finishing zesty and dry. This is a very solid Belgian style IPA.
