Year of New Beer: Jardinier, The Bruery (CA)

Belgian yeast opens the nose, followed in short order by a grassy note that quickly turns floral in nature. On the tongue, traces of citrus pith provide a crisp bitterness, with some earthy spices and minerality coming mid-palate. With warmth, the floral aspect returns in the form of a mildly sweet honeysuckle. Very light and easy drinking, but I believe if I were looking for a low ABV Bruery beer, I'd choose Hottenroth over this one
