Roasted chocolate malts and raspberries are abundant on the nose, with traces of coffee, caramel, and vanilla coming on with warmth. On the tongue, an initial raspberry tartness is quickly balanced by rich, dark chocolate sweetness. Hints of honey, oak, and coffee ride atop a gentle bourbon heat. This is deep, dark, and delicious, like a bourbon soaked, chocolate covered raspberry. Outstanding.
