Year of New Beer: Rich & Dan's Rye IPA, Harpoon Brewery (MA).

Full disclosure--I purchased this one beyond the "best by" date of late March, and I'm certain the flavor has suffered because of it. Aromas are sweet, caramel malt with little rye of which to speak. On the tongue, a moderate hoppiness and only the slightest rye spice attempt to balance the sweet breadiness. Not great, but I'd like to try it fresh to be fair.
