Year of New Beer: California Steam, Argus Brewery (Chicago)

Mildly sweet toasted bread and earthy hops on the nose, with both translating well to the tongue. Hints of honey and an overall graininess as well. Really solid hop presence for a lager. I enjoyed this one; think it's a little underrated.
