Year of New Beer: Oppigards Amarillo - Oppigards Bryggeri AB (Sweden)

A little sweetness followed by some floral hop notes; on the tongue the bitterness is elevated a notch or two as a sturdy hop presence is felt against a nice caramel malt backbone. European brewers for the most part don't smack you in the face with hops like their American counterparts, but this beer can hold its own against a lot of stateside pale ales.
