Year of New Beer: Fleur De Houblon, Brewery Ommegang (NY)

Floral hops with the trademark Ommegang yeasty component, white grapes and pepper on the nose. The flavors encompass all those and more. Lemon zest, apple peel, and light toasted grains make an appearance as well. This is a crisp, biting, refreshing beer. No other American brewery does Belgian style beers quite like Brewery Ommegang.
