
Year of New Beer: French Toast Imperial Stout, Wicked Weed Brewing (Asheville)

Cinnamon, charred toast, vanilla, and a bit of brownie batter on the nose. On the tongue, cinnamon spice again takes the lead, with background notes of coffee, campfire, and a touch of lactose sweetness. Pretty good earthy hop bite in there as well. Good, but I almost think the tallboy cans are a bit much; I would have gone 12oz on this one.
