Year of New Beer: 2XRye, Southern Tier Brewing (NY)

Citrusy hops and hints of grain husk on the nose; big rye spice bite on the tongue is nicely balanced by the hop bitterness and just enough caramel malt. Southern Tier rarely blows me away, but conversely, they seldom disappoint.
