Year of New Beer: Dark Abby, Devils Backbone Brewing (VA)

Raisins, figs, hints of cinnamon, and faint sweet tobacco on the nose. Some caramel/brown sugar maltiness steps up on the tongue, along with some cooked apple and a mild hop bitterness. A touch of cola as well. Doesn't really have the depth and complexity I would expect from a dubbel, but still not a bad beer.
