Year of New Beer: Wookey Jack, Firestone Walker Brewing (CA)

Elements of smoke and toasted rye coexist nicely with pine and citrus aromas; orange pith and pineapple flavors give way to a solid hop bitterness, rye spice, and alcohol burn. Notes of molasses as the beer warms. Excellent. Too bad Chicago is a 6 hour drive or I'd run out and grab a few more bottles.
