
Year of New Beer: Kinshachi Nagoya Red Miso Lager - Land Beer (Japan)

Interesting aromas of dark fruit, butter rum, and fleeting hints of banana. Only after the beer warms do I begin to pick up the miso. On the tongue, the fruit is more subdued, with caramel leading the way. Bitterness steps in towards a slightly salty, savory finish.
