Year of New Beer: Escoffier Bretta Ale, Brewery Vivant (MI)

Sour green apple, tart apricot, and Belgian yeast hit the nose; on the tongue the flavors are a mix of tropical fruits, toasted bread, faint caramel, white pepper and a variety of spices. This was a fantastic pair to homemade lasagna and salad with Bleu cheese.
