Year of New Beer: Organic Chocolate Stout, Samuel Smith Old Brewery (England)

The aroma of chocolate is unbelievable, with lighter notes of coffee, whipped cream, and vanilla. The taste buds are not disappointed, as they are wrapped in layers sweet, smooth cocoa with only hints of bitterness. The supporting aromatics show up in the flavor as well, providing a delicious backdrop for all of the chocolatey goodness. Stunning in it's simplicity. I think when this year of new beer ends, this will be Top 10.
