Year of New Beer: Hop Zombie, Epic Brewing Company, New Zealand (Aotearoa)

Possibly the most transparent double IPA I've ever seen. Some initial pineapple and mango-type citrus aromas that are quickly overwhelmed by a very catty boxwood. Normally, this is my least favorite type of hop aroma, but for some reason, it's working tonight. Lemon zest, some tart pineapple, and a dry, pine hop bite to finish. This is one good beer.
