Year of New Beer: Flying Mouflan, Troegs Brewing (PA)

Really nice aromas of figs, dates, raisins, and caramel, as well as traces of sweet tobacco and leather. On the tongue, toasted malts, sweet dessert breads, and brown sugar give way to pine and citrus hops, with everything fading to a dry, mildly alcoholic-hot finish. I like this style, and this is one good barleywine.
