Year of New Beer: Meadowlark IPA, Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project (MA)

Citra hops punch you in the face with the first sniff-sort of boxwood, along with some apricot and tangerine. Initially, the taste seems just a tad harsh-a little grassy and green, but as the beer warms the tropical fruits begin to take hold along with some caramel malt. Still plenty of hop resins to keep things well on the bitter side. Great beer.
