Year of New Beer: Warlock, Southern Tier Brewing (NY).

Very complex on the nose, with pumpkin pie spices, faint coffee and chocolate. Graham cracker and vanilla seem to dominate, however. I thought I had smelled graham cracker in a beer before, but this one is unreal. On the tongue, spices and sweetness are balanced by an impressive hop bitterness. I couldn't drink this often, but it is indeed an outstanding brew.
