Year of New Beer: Sam Adams Imperial Stout, Boston Beer Co. (MA)

Charred coffee bean, dark fruit, and the faintest hint of soy on the nose. On the tongue, the fruits develop nicely, wrapped in layers of chocolate and hop bitterness. Pleasantly surprised by this one.
