Year of New Beer: Swamp Ape, Florida Beer Company (FL)

A not very pleasant aroma gets this one off to a shaky start, and things don't get much better when it hits the tongue. Poorly defined citrus flavors battle lamely against overpoweringly sweet malts, with not nearly enough hop presence. Second beer from this brewery, probably won't buy a third.
