Year of New Beer: Sprecher IPA2, Sprecher Brewing (WI)

The aroma of this beer is pretty much all brown sugar with a touch of pine. Nothing here says "Double IPA"-virtually no hop presence. That being said, the flavor of sweet, caramel malts is not all bad, there is just not enough hop presence in this beer to label it a double India Pale ale.
