Year of New Beer: Full Circle Kolsch, New Holland Brewing (MI)

Very mild on the nose with a touch of lemon zest, light floral hops, and a bit of saltine cracker. On the tongue, slightly sweet malts balance nicely with gentle hopping, a hint of peppery spice and faint yeastiness. I usually stay away from the lighter styles, but this one was a pleasant surprise and a great choice for a warm summer evening.
