Year of New Beer: Kentucky Black Mountain IPA, Alltech (Lexington)

Winner of the annual Pro-am brewing competition, this one features some mild citrus aromas with a fairly solid overlay of roasted chocolate malt. Very similar in flavor with a pretty nice balance between the hop bitterness and the charred grain. Maybe not the best black IPA I've had, but certainly better than any of the regular Alltech offerings.
