Year of New Beer: Red Raspberry Rye, Buxton Brewery (England)

Tart raspberries on the nose along with a dusty, slightly spicy funk. The fruit becomes sweeter with warmth. On the tongue, tartness reigns with notes of Granny Smith apples and lemons joining the raspberries. A light straw and faint rye spice accompany a trace of slightly sweet, bready malt. Another nice shelf score from the Trappe.
