Year of New Beer: Lizard King, Pipeworks Brewing (Chicago)

A lot going on with the aroma as lemon zest, orange peel, floral sweetness, and dank boxwood are all present. On the tongue, the hops are juicy and sticky rather than bitter. The cattiness of the boxwood and a very light, caramel malt provide a nice balance. This is very good, but for me it doesn't quite live up to the hype.
