Intense nose of chocolate, coffee, bourbon, and smoked fruit. On the tongue, the influence of the Pappy barrels is felt, as a spicy bourbon bite leads the way, backed by a solid charred oak. Rich coffee and cocoa marries nicely with dark fruits and burnt sugar. Awfully easy drinking for such a big beer. Delicious.
