Year of New Beer: Mandarin Nectar, Alpine Beer Co (CA)

The nose is "soft", with traces of honey, citrus, and flower blossoms atop a lightly sweet caramel and tea leaves. The tongue is very similar, as the flavors are all very subdued. Honeysuckle, peach, and faint grassy hops intermingle with tea, cola, and hints of shortbread. Light, creamy, and easy drinking. This is a nice change of pace, but a one-and-done for me.
