Candied pineapple backed by notes of pine and toffee on the nose. On the tongue, the honey is certainly evident as it combines with a lot of sweet malt on the front end before devolving into a largely bitter alcoholic mess on the finish. Bitterness, when integrated properly, is fine. This is just unbalanced.
