Year of New Beer: White Squirrel Flight, White Squirrel Brewery (Bowling Green, KY)

On the left is the Kölsch, light and refreshing with a mildly toasted grain and a moderately dry, hoppy bitterness. Second was the Jalapeño Kölsch, which takes the crispness of the regular brew and adds a kiss of heat that actually finishes a little sweet. Last was the Nut Brown Ale, featuring a toasted bread crust, light caramel, and earthy nuttiness. Doubled down on the Kölsch with a full pint to accompany an excellent meal.
