Year of New Beer: Balling the Queen, Tyranena Brewing Co (WI)

Faint citrus and pine atop a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Very light floral notes, suggesting the honey used in the brew. On the tongue, this is a little more old school double, with the malt aspect overpowering the hops just a bit. Pine does come through with warmth to provide some bitterness, balancing out the honey sweetness. Dries out a bit with a bit of alcohol burn on the finish. Still a pretty solid beer.
