Year of New Beer: Mango Guava Pop!, Grimm Artisanal Ales (NY)

The namesake fruits are certainly present on the nose, sharp, with additional notes of lime and tart peach. On the tongue is a citrus kick that allows orange and grapefruit to momentarily steal the spotlight. Along the middle, mango and guava really start to shine, with their bite being tempered a bit by the vanilla and lactose sweetness. Finishes just a little sharper than I was expecting as a fruit rind bitterness settles in. Not too bad, but I've had better from Grimm
