Year of New Beer: Single Fermented Belgian Golden Ale, Duvel Moortgat (Belgium)

Crisp and clean on the nose with classic Belgian yeast, lightly toasted grain, and a building spice, which leans toward clove. A touch sweet on the tongue as the malt backing does a nice job of balancing the clove and light pepper. Maintains the yeast and a bit of white grape through the finish. Nothing amazing, but a nice, clean change of pace in the midst of the haze craze.
