Very nice nose of tart berries, grapes, and red wine with a slight undercurrent of bourbon. Aroma transitions seamlessly to the tongue with a moderate level of pucker coming from a red wine vinegar, sour cherries and grapes. Just a hint of oaky funk against the caramel and char of the bourbon. Drinks lighter than it's ABV, though. Really enjoyable brew.
