Year of New Beer: Devil's Britches IPA, Highland Brewing (Asheville)

Pretty solid pine on the nose, with a respectable caramel malt & toasted bread crust. Pretty similar on the tongue. Starts a little sweet, but soon gives way to a resinous bitterness that gets pretty leafy, bordering on green onion. Thankfully this aspect is held in check by a more pleasant citrus kick. Not the best I've had from this brewery, but not bad.
