Year of New Beer: Haze-Ja-Vu, Mirror Twin Brewing Co (Lexington)

So you feel like you've been here that such a bad thing? Saturday sees the release of this double dry-hopped beauty, and the result is a familiarity that should bring no complaints. Aroma is loaded with orange, grapefruit, and hints of earthy pine. Warmth opens up lemon and mango, with just a bit of dankness. Taste follows the nose quite well, with an initial burst of pithy bitterness that quickly settles into a softer, more muted citrus peel. Slightly sweeter fruit juices along the middle as the lactose tempers things a bit. Light pine continues here as well. Smooth and pretty juicy through the finish. As usual, another outstanding New England IPA from Mirror Twin.
