Year of New Beer: Akasha flight, Akasha Brewing Co (Louisville)

Finally made my long overdue visit to the taproom today, and it didn't disappoint. Starting on the left with the Gose. This version of the style definitely leans more to the sour side as opposed to salty, and that's not such a bad thing. Tart fruits make for a tasty refresher. Next up was Friends With Benefits, a collab with Monnik. Really nice berry tartness countered by the perfect amount of ginger. Probably my favorite of the four, but that's a tough call. Next was Coastal Confusion, a more traditional IPA, bursting with citrus peel, a touch of pine, and a solid dose of bitterness. Last up was Party N.E. Time. Not overly hazy, but possesses the right juicy fruit qualities to make it a winner. Soft, citrusy, and just a touch dank. Good stuff, will definitely have to get back.
