Year of New Beer: Humidor Series IPA, Cigar City Brewing (FL)

This has to be the oddest IPA I've ever encountered. The nose is earthy, wet tree bark with a distinct cedar component. On the tongue, a sweet caramel malt hits first, with a smoked tobacco and dry cedar mid-palate. Gets extremely dry and sticky on the finish as the hop bitterness really coats the tongue. Even though I think this is a miss by Cigar City, I appreciate the opportunity to try it.
