Year of New Beer: Wake Up Dead Nitro, Left Hand Brewing (CO)

Mild nose of dark chocolate and subdued black coffee. On the tongue, the chocolate provides a creamy sweetness as hints of dark fruit linger in the background before being pushed aside by the bitterness of the roasted malt. Remarkably well-hidden alcohol in this smooth brew. Very nice. Picked up at The Beer Trappe.
